The asparagus season is open again, with daily deliveries from growers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The Venlo branch is the prime coordinator for this. “Within the group, we are the epicenter of asparagus sales in the coming weeks,” says Johan Wiersma, Account Manager at Staay Venlo. “This year, we have managed to secure additional cultivation, ensuring our customers have access to daily fresh asparagus throughout the season. Daily supplies enable quick delivery, even for the highly specific orders our foodservice clients often request.”<\/p>\n
According to Noud Broos, Jr Account Manager at Staay Venlo, all sizes and colors are available. “Ranging from the classic white to violet and green variants. Moreover, we offer our customers the option to have the asparagus peeled and packaged according to their specific requirements,” says Noud, who is co-managing the asparagus product group with Johan for the first time this season.<\/p>\n
The Cash & Carry at the Venlo branch also pays special attention to asparagus.
