Friday 13 December was a celebration at our cultivation partner Van den Brink in ‘t Goy (Houten) on the occasion of the opening of their 3,300 m2 new building. The extension includes 16 ULO cold stores, work cells, additional space for grading and packaging, shipping space and cultivation space. The final sorting of this season’s Staay club pear ‘Early Desire’ also took place.
\nRefrigeration, Grading and Fruit Growing Company Van den Brink organised a walk-in afternoon in ‘t Goy (Houten) for business relations and local residents. <\/p>\n
The afternoon was dominated by the recently completed new building with a surface area of over 3,300 m2. Investments were made in 16 ULO cold stores, automated grading\/packaging, shipping area, work cells and cultivation areas. All of this looks to the future, with highly sustainable construction including high insulation values, solar panels, heat recovery and an emergency power supply with EMS system for a battery. <\/p>\n
