Les premiers melons sont attendus pour la semaine 9, soit environ 2 semaines plus tard que la normale. En raison de pr\u00e9cipitations inhabituelles \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re et en janvier dernier, Staay Food Group a choisi de repousser la plantation de melons.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Dans le m\u00eame temps, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9tendre l&rsquo;approvisionnement \u00e0 partir des sites de culture au Br\u00e9sil afin de garantir une bonne ad\u00e9quation saisonni\u00e8re&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Matthijs Vlasblom. Lors de cette saison costaricienne, la gamme comprend, outre les melons jaunes et Galia, des past\u00e8ques avec ou sans p\u00e9pins.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Lorsque la saison prendra fin au Costa Rica, nous poursuivrons la culture du melon en collaboration avec nos partenaires espagnols, afin de pouvoir fournir tout au long de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e un programme en provenance du Br\u00e9sil, du Costa Rica, du Panama et de l&rsquo;Espagne.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culture suppl\u00e9mentaire de mini-past\u00e8ques<br \/>\n<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Depuis un certain temps, nous constatons une demande croissante de mini-past\u00e8ques (sans p\u00e9pins). C&rsquo;est pourquoi nous avons mis l&rsquo;accent sur la culture de ce type. Nous nous r\u00e9jouissons d&rsquo;avoir r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 cultiver un plus grand volume de ces vari\u00e9t\u00e9s cette saison&nbsp;\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Matthijs Vlasblom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Extension de la culture propre<br \/>\n<\/strong>Pour assurer un approvisionnement stable, Staay Food Group a r\u00e9parti sa propre production sur quatre sites au Costa Rica et deux sites au Panama. \u00ab&nbsp;Avec des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques de plus en plus incertaines, il est important que nous continuions \u00e0 travailler sur la diversification des risques.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;En raison de l&rsquo;irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9 des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, nous nous attendons cette saison \u00e0 un volume un peu moins important en provenance du Costa Rica. La pluie cause des pertes, tant sur le terrain que dans notre syst\u00e8me de classement rigoureux.
