Staay Food Group Venlo and HAS University of Applied Sciences Venlo have officially confirmed their partnership. Staay and HAS are joining forces to optimally bring together theory and practice.
In Limburg, HAS University works intensively with various companies in the surrounding area. These companies are all based in the agri-food sector and provide students with the opportunity to gain extensive insight into their future field of work. This involves fieldtrips, guest lectures, internships, case studies, academic projects, and practical company experience. In this way, HAS University aims for its courses to respond to the wants and needs that arise from practical experience as much as possible.
Staay Food Group and HAS have often worked together in the past as good neighbours, but now this partnership has been made official. "We strongly believe in the added value from the talented people supplied by HAS who we will be able to work with in future. A good relationship between higher education and industry is also crucial as a means of securing both our futures," says Branch Manager Michiel Geraedts.
On 1 April, Staay Food Group will join the partner companies of HAS University of Applied Sciences in Venlo.
