Staay Food Group has taken over the shares of Direct Fruit Services B.V. from Dole Plc in Ireland. The Group thus strengthens its position on the top fruit market. DFS will continue its activities unchanged and independently under the trusted management of Alex van Ieperen. However, there will be close cooperation with Frupaks-Vernooij B.V., the other top fruit branch within Staay Food Group. With this takeover, Staay underlines its ambitions to play a leading role in the field of growing and trading apples and pears.
