Fruit Attraction 2023
Staay Food Group at Fruit Attraction 2023 in Madrid
Europe’s second-largest international fruit and vegetable expo will take place from 3–5 October in Madrid. Staay Food Group has a strong presence in Spain with extensive farming operations in Tarragona, a trading branch in Barcelona and a large network of Spanish growers. We are delighted to be returning to this important event this year.
The Staay Food Group booth will be staffed by 14 colleagues from our various branches, ensuring a range of expertise. You can find us at stand C10 in the Holland Pavilion in Hall 6. We’ll be spotlighting a range of Staay specialities: including leafy vegetables, fruiting vegetables, pip fruits, melons and pineapples. This year, we’ll have a particular focus on hydroponic lettuce, stone fruit and pears.
Display: Teen leaves
A special demo display will showcase a selection of hydroponic lettuce varieties: lettuces with root balls, such as Salatrio and Lollo Rossa, and also teen leaves. This new type of lettuce is harvested as individual leaves and has an impressive shelf life, even without refrigeration.
Display: Red Conference
The exclusive club variety Red Conference, introduced last year, will be on show again at this year’s expo. You can see it alongside its well-known green counterpart, the Conference. This unique combination of winter pears will be on display and available for purchase exclusively at the Staay Food Group stand.
